# How do I verify hours for Work Placement?

## As an employer supporting work placement, we need you to verify your student's hours so they can be counted towards their target hours.

To log hours on Grofar as an employer, you'll receive an email with a link to an online form each week. This form allows you to verify the student's logged hours for the week, accepting them or flagging any inaccuracies. You can also [use the Grofar platform](https://auth.grofar.com/) to track and monitor student placements, including their logged hours. 

 

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

 

1\. Receiving the Verification Email:

- Grofar will send you an email with a link to an online form every week while the placement is active.
- This form is specifically for verifying the student's logged hours for the week.

2\. Verifying the Logged Hours:

- Access the online form through the provided link.
- You can either accept the hours logged by the student or flag any incorrect entries.
- Once you've reviewed the hours, submit the form.

3\. Utilizing the Grofar Platform:

- Grofar is a platform for managing and tracking work placements.
- You can use it to monitor student progress, including their logged hours.
- Grofar also allows students to digitally log and verify their hours.

4\. Monitoring Student Progress:

- The Grofar platform provides tools for monitoring student progress and ensuring they are on track to meet course requirements.
- The work placement team will also monitor hours and ensure students are on track.
